Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

How long does the publishing process take?

Most authors see their book available within 6–8 months.

What genres do you work with?

We accept a wide variety of genres. The only exceptions are manuscripts with lewd or excessively violent content. Every submission is reviewed to ensure it aligns with our values.

What’s the difference between self-publishing, traditional publishing, and hybrid publishing?

Self-Publishing

In self-publishing, the author manages the entire process from editing and design to marketing and distribution. This gives authors complete control and higher royalty rates, but also means covering all costs and carrying the responsibility of promoting the book. Visibility can be harder to achieve without established publishing networks.

Traditional -Publishing

Traditional publishers cover editing, design, printing, and distribution, and often provide marketing support and advances. They have strong industry connections and credibility, but the process is slow (frequently a year or more), competitive, and authors usually have less creative control and lower royalty percentages.

Hybrid-Publishing

Hybrid publishing blends the two models. Authors invest financially but also benefit from professional services such as editing, design, and marketing, plus access to distribution channels. Hybrid publishing often allows faster timelines, higher royalties than traditional publishing, and more creative input while still offering the guidance of industry professionals.

How much can I expect to make from each book sale?

Earnings vary by format. You keep 100% of your profit until your publishing investment is recovered. After that, only $0.20 per book is retained; the rest is your royalty.

How often are sales reported?

Royalties are calculated on a calendar quarter basis and will be paid in United States Dollars (USD) within ninety (90) days after the end of each calendar quarter. The timing of actual receipt of the payment by the author may occur after these issuance dates. Royalties will be paid via checks. A valid and IRS-verified TIN must be provided before we can legally remit royalty proceeds to you.
